Supercropping — controlled stress: squeeze and bend shoots to create thicker stems and increased bud volume in the vegetative and early flowering phase.
Supercropping breaks plant fibres without damaging the skin. Technique: Squeeze shoot between fingers until soft, then bend. Timing: Vegetative or early flowering stretch. Stress reaction strengthens shoots and increases potency. Careful with young/old shoots. Recovery 3-7 days. Can be combined with other training methods.
Supercropping is a technique in which shoots are gently pinched and bent to damage the cellular structure. This results in thicker vascular tissue and stronger stems, which encourages the plant to produce more flowers.
Supercropping should be done during the vegetative phase, when the plants are robust enough to handle the stress. Ideally, this should be done during the early to mid-growth phase.
Supercropping can be done several times during the vegetative phase, but you should give the plants enough time to recover. Be careful not to prune too many shoots at once.
