Measure and correct pH for cannabis: soil 6.0–7.0, hydro and coco 5.5–6.5 — use calibrated meters and adjust with pH-Up or pH-Down.
Optimum pH: Soil 6.0-7.0, Hydro 5.5-6.5, Coco 5.8-6.2. Measurement: Calibrated pH meters more precise than test strips. Calibration with 4.0 and 7.0 buffer solutions. Correction: Add pH-Up (potassium hydroxide) or pH-Down (phosphoric acid) drop by drop. Measure again after adding fertiliser - nutrients influence pH.
Use a calibrated pH meter to mix a sample of soil with water and measure the pH of the solution.
Use pH-Down to lower the pH level as needed, and check it regularly to ensure it stays within the optimal range.
It is advisable to check the pH level at least once a week or before each watering to ensure optimal growing conditions.
