Important trace elements for healthy plant development
Micronutrients are essential in small quantities: calcium, magnesium, sulphur, iron, manganese, zinc, boron, copper and molybdenum. Calcium deficiency is characterised by brown spots on the leaves. Magnesium deficiency causes yellow colouring between the leaf veins. Iron deficiency leads to yellow young leaves. pH value strongly influences nutrient uptake. Cal-Mag additives are often necessary for soft water. Full spectrum fertilisers usually contain all micronutrients. Overdosing micronutrients can block others.
