⚠️ Deficiencies ⭐ Intermediate

Recognise nutrient deficiencies and remedy them immediately

Visual guide for diagnosing N-P-K deficiencies

NITROGEN FLAG: Older leaves turn yellow from bottom to top. Solution: Use nitrogen-rich fertiliser (18-8-20).

PHOSPHORUS MALT: Dark, purple discolouration on leaves and stems. Leaves become stiff. Solution: Phosphorus booster (0-50-30) in the flowering phase.

POTASSIUM MELT: Brown, burnt leaf edges, yellow spots. Solution: Use potassium-rich fertiliser.

CALCIUM FAILURE: Brown spots on leaves, weak growth. Solution: Add Cal-Mag, adjust pH value to 6.0-7.0.

MAGNESIUM DEFECT: Yellow discolouration between the leaf veins. Solution: Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) in the irrigation water.

IRON MELT: New leaves turn yellow with green veins. Solution: Reduce pH value to 5.5-6.5, use iron chelate.

PROFI-TIP: Always check the pH value before adding nutrients. Incorrect pH prevents nutrient uptake.
